Write Your Way to a Scene Only to Find It Doesn't Fit? Don't Delete It! Refocus it!

We've all been there. We have a particular scene in mind. In fact, it's what kick started our thinking about and writing this particular story, and we're writing toward that scene, but by the time we get there, the scene we originally envisioned doesn't entirely fit with the story we've written.

What do we do in that case? Just cut the scene we felt so passionate about?

NO! At least, we don't have to unless we decide it's the best thing for the story.

In this episode, I give you pointers on how to refocus and tailor any scene so that you can keep any scene you want to keep. Check out this episode and tell me in the comments if it helped you get some clarity on how to keep your darlings!
