Dystopian Fantasy
Dystopian has always struck a chord with me. The individual against the establishment is too compelling a story not to be told. In a way, the dystopian genre is the epitome of the power struggle between freedom and oppression.
Interchron emerged from a combination of truth stories, ideas planted in my brain during college, and pure imagination! :D
Persistence of Vision (Interchron #1)
A long lost love waits for Maggie in the future.
An oppressive regime waits too...
Maggie experiences a disturbing encounter, which ends in time and memory loss. Afterwards, she feels empty, but can’t explain why.
Months later, a strange man saves her life from the creepiest-looking thug she’s ever laid eyes on. He knows things about her he shouldn’t. Thought she doesn’t recognize him, Maggie almost feels like she should.
Yeah, Maggie’s life is a soap opera.
What follows is time travel, a post-apocalyptic world in which the human race is enslaved, and individuals have been hunted to the verge of extinction.
Only Maggie holds the key to freeing the world, but it’s lost somewhere in her missing memories.
